Day 1: Sembalun (1.156 m) – Sembalun Crater Rim (2.639 m)

Wake up at 06:00 am for breakfast and meet your guide. At 07:00 am our driver will transfer you are to Sembalun (1.156 m) for approximately time 1 hour. Before starting to trekking, register, arrange entrance fee by your guide and small briefing about your trek detail and rubbish management in Rinjani Information Center (RIC) then next 10 minute transfer back to the start point. First 2, 5 hours walking in quite flat open savanna view, crossing two Dry River, small forest  and summit of Rinjani clearly visible front of you. Take small break anywhere on the way then long break (maximum 2 hours) will taken on Pos 2 Tengengean (1.500 m) for lunch time.  Next an hour trek is steeper trail with some small hill to Pos 3 Pada Balong (1.800 m ) then last 3,5 hours climb are the hardest trek for day 1, through 7 high hill with small casuarinas  at sixth hill, this hill locally known as “cemara seribu “ in mean a thousand casuarinas. Perhaps for sunny sky along the way so the summit is look very clear and so close up left of us until the camp site at Pelawangan II Sembalun crater rim (2.639 m).  Sunset, dinner and overnight for camp will be taken in this place

Day 2: Sembalun Crater Rim (2.639 m) – Rinjani Summit (3.726 m) – Lake & Hot spring (2.000 m) – Senaru crater rim (2.641 m).

At 2:30 am is time to wake up for prepare while enjoy the light breakfast with hot tea or coffee before summit attach. 3 hours hard climb to summit at small way, deep ravine left and right of us and the hardest hill waiting at last one hour before summit, mix sand and gravel make it worst, as take two step forward will slip one step till the top. Enjoy with amazing sunrise at 06:10, emerge from the cloud. From the summit almost all the Lombok area will be seem. Mt. Agung summit of Bali, Sumbawa Island also seen, Segara Anak Lake (2.000 m) with Mt. Baru (2.351 m) at the center is located at the bottom of us. After maximum 30 on top, go down to the camp and have break for breakfast, then go down following the mount side line at steep trail and stony at one hour, need carefully and extra attention from your guide, before go bay two hours flat till the lake (2.000 m). 10 minutes walking down to next of lake to get hot spring, swim and enjoy the warm of natural water that believed can healing few of disease, natural therapy for body, then lunch by the lake and Mt. Baru view, fishing (on request) can be arrange too, dinner and overnight at this place.

Day 3: Lake (2.000 m) – Senaru Rim (2.641 m)

Wake up at 06:00 am, enjoying breakfast then 3 hours exploring cave (Susu cave, Monik cave) and Lunch by the lake. After lunch leave the lake for approximately time 3 hours, steep trail till the middle way, then quite flat way but small and deep ravine on left till Senaru rim (2.641 m) as camp area. Enjoy the nicest sunset that emerge from summit of Mt. Agung, delicious dinner and overnight at this place.

Day 4: Senaru Rim (2.641 m) – Senaru Village (601 m).

Wake at 06:00 am for sunrise, taking picture the nice scenery and breakfast. 07:00 am is the time for go down to Senaru village for 5 – 6 hours include lunch break on the way, through mostly rain tropic forest. Arrive at Rinjani Trekking Center (RTC) Senaru and our car is waiting to transfer you are to your hotel or airport. Say thankful and good bye.
